This website is new but I'm not new to the net.. I’m including a FAQ page to cut down on unnecessary emails (this does NOT mean you cannot email me, just please view this page before you do).. most of these questions have actually been asked...

Q: I like the characters (aka Poser people/animals/elements) in your graphics, do you make these yourself?

A: No. I purchase psp tubes from Outlaw by Design (she still holds the copyrights to these images)

Q: Can I change or alter your graphics to suit my own needs?

A: You most certainly can! Most of my stuff is just a starting point for taggers and imagers.

Q: What do you mean when you say you don't want people keeping online and offline collections of your stuff?

A: If you like and want to save a bunch of my stuff, YOU CAN! .. as long as the place you save them, is NOT online and for others to view and snag. I mainly just don't want people sharing my stuff "as is" on cds in physical form or uploaded to a server like Rapidshare and giving them away or selling anything. Your own personal collection is absolutely allowed!

Q: How do you create your graphics you offer?

A: from various programs & plugins.. my main program is Paint Shop Pro 7 (with 50+ plugins attached) but I also have Swishv2.01, High Logic’s Font Creator, PixelToolbox, PhotoImpression 4, Photo Font Maker, Funhouse, and MicroSoft Picture It Express 9

Q: Can you explain to me how you made a specific graphic if I send it to you?

A: No.. sorry.. I cannot.. for several reasons. I don’t have the time, most things cannot be explained in one email and many things I create, I am creating just by playing around and I don‘t keep notes.

Q: Can you put my name on a graphic or make an animation with my name?

A: No.. sorry... every once in awhile around Christmas I'll put up a name request page but I don't do it every year.. depends on what's going on in my life at the time.. other than that, I cannot do requests because I don't have the time.

Q: How did you learn how to create the things you do?

A: Most of the time it’s just from playing around & trial and error.. I do read other peoples tutorials but I’m not into following tutorials.. if I do read a tutorial, I take whatever I may learn from what I’ve read and use my imagination and try to create my own things.

Q: Why do you have a Dungeon?

A: Because some people think they can do as they please with other peoples stuff and nothing will or can be done about it.. it‘s my own justice and it gives me peace of mind.. I highly recommend every one have one if they own a website (or something alike).

Q: What do you consider misusing your things?

A: #1 - Posting or sharing my individual graphic urls instead of sharing my website.

#2 - Hotlinking or Direct Linking to my graphics.. use your own bandwidth please.

#3 - Taking my stuff "as is" from my website, creating a webpage of your own and offering my stuff for download. This INCLUDES uploading my stuff to RapidShare or anything alike and sharing it in the groups or on a forum or through email to friends! ... (Please Note: my Dingbats are the ONLY thing I allow to be offered somewhere else for download)

#4 - Using tons of my stuff but not mentioning where you got them anywhere on your website. That‘s just disrespectful.

#5 - Taking ANY graphics I use to decorate my pages with and using them yourself.

#6 - Embedding ANY of my webpages into your directory or placing them in there in ANYWAY whatsoever(I cannot believe I have to actually add this but unfortunately I do)

Q: What does Hotlinking to your graphics mean?

A: taking my graphic urls and using them WITHOUT downloading them to your harddrive, or uploading them to your own webspace or NOT transloading them BEFORE you use them. (whichever applies to you) .. if you right click and "save as" or you transload and/or beam my graphics BEFORE you use them, you ARE doing what you are suppose to. MsnTVers: you CAN take my stuff to Image Magick without transloading them first, your not using my bandwidth when you do that.

Q: What about the famous Fair Use law? Can't I do as I please with all your stuff if I want to, as long as I don't make any money?

A: Think about it.. there's nothing FAIR about taking other peoples things and doing as you please with it as long as there's no monatary gain. Just because it's on the net, doesn't make it a free for all ... there are guidelines to follow.. you can find some great info on the subject HERE.

Q: Why do your website graphics you decorate your pages with, load in small squares?

A: because I slice them in Paint Shop.. it's very easy to do if you have that program.. if you are interested in doing the same, you can find some tutorials on it HERE.

Q: How come when I click on your links or anywhere on your pages, there's a small burst of asterisks? (for IE users & some other browsers)

A: I use a couple of javascripts on my pages and that one is called Mouse Fireworks Script - CLICK 4 THE SCRIPT.

Q: How should I give you proper credit?

A: a clickable text link back somewhere on your website is fine but you can use one of my banners if you like. As far as using my things in your email signature, I do not ask people to link back to me BUT to PLEASE let people know WHERE you got the stuff if they ask.

Q: What if I don't have a website but I want to use your stuff? What about giving you credit then?

A: I never ask anyone to place my name and/or my website name on any graphic you may create with my stuff.. if you don't have a website (or anything on the web) and your just having fun making tags then by all means, please continue.

Q: How do you find out about people misusing your stuff?

A: from various sources.. I have site trackers & webstats but many people email me and forward me webpages or emails and show me what people have done.

Q: How do you place someone in the Dungeon?

A: ..if u see someone in the Dungeon then it's either because they've been Hotlinking (which is mostly the case) or doing something I asked people NOT to do.. .. if you are placed in the Dungeon, I DO have proof and WILL show it! ... I see much more than people realize but sometimes people throughout the net, forward me emails or send me to webpages and show me what people are doing wrong too.. if I see someone clearly doing wrong, I try to contact them... If that‘s not possible (I don‘t join groups or forums to contact people) then I take the proof I have and place it in one of the cells in the Dungeon, then add my thoughts about it.

Q: Once someone is in the Dungeon, can they be removed?

A: YES! .. a sincere email apology is all that is needed.

Q: Can I send you greeting pages or things on the web that I find interesting?

A: please ask me before you start doing something like that. I‘ve been on the net a long time and there are many people who email me often already. I do have my family to take care of and I also run a club newsgroup and have a forum too.

Q: Does having a Question/Comment mean I can email you with a rant I may have about you or your website?

A: absolutely NOT! .. if you don‘t like my website, my Terms, my Dungeon or even the way I display my graphics, it's simple, just leave. I have no clue why people feel the need to go out of their way to say something negative to me... BUT...... if you really feel the need to and you choose to email me just to rant, you may get what you have coming.. (or a little more) I don‘t like to argue but I will defend myself against rude & mean people.

Q: Do you do a link exchange with other websites?

A: Not at this point in time but maybe sometime in the future.

Q: What happened to your ladytimeless.org domain?

A: to make a long story short, new owners bought the webhost company I was going through and they did not want to honor the previous plan I agreed on. The domain was included in the plan and I had no choice but to leave it all.

Q: Where's all your old stuff you had on your ladytimeless.org site?

A: .. there was way too much to move and I don't keep back-ups.. I don't redo, I make new.. it takes the fun out of things if u have to keep putting up what u had before.. I don't have the time or patience for it.. you will see a little of my old stuff here and there tho.. I saved one of my tutorials but I'm not sure if or when I'll put it back up.. right now I need to have some fun and I'm doing it.. I hope that u find what your looking for or maybe something new to play with.. it's all about fun people :-))
